Itni achchi rating isliye bh mili kyuki yehe series ek a genuine spy thriller PAR "ek tha tiger “ nahi hai, jahan hero ... superhero hai... aur kuch bhi kar sakta hai.
 

The storyline is as follows. The family man follows the story of Srikant Tiwari (Sri) in this best spy thriller, who lives two lives . He is common family man with an ordinary life and in secret he also works as a senior analyst at a fictional cell called - Threat Analysis and Surveillance Cell (TASC), which is a part of the National Intelligence Agency (NIA) of India. He is a married man with two kids, and the first season follows an investigation of a potential terrorist attack, while simultaneously following his slightly unsettled family life. the family man explained fully in this video. 

 

I would advise you to see this series (The fmaily man) asap because of many reasons.

1. Second season aane wala hai, to pehle hi first season ko nipta lo.

2. Brilliant undercover agent story of courage but not of muscles. It’s all about the brain muscle. Mind game and true jazba for the nation ... kuch bhi kar guzarne ke liye ... in fact, even ahead of family.

3. The story is very well directed. On one side the story is of a common man working as an agent to stop a conspiracy against India. On the other hand , there is a story about his household, how relationships are slipping out of his hands because of his job... marriage and children. Director further shows his struggle to balance his life between work I.e as a spy and as a very normal family man with two cute kids and a wife.

4. Thriller Quotient is very high - it is engaging, well-written drama that will keep you on the edge of your seat. Many have called it as addictive and have seen the entire series in one go...

5. All characters have got enough screen time to understand them deeply and you start relating to them/ identifying with their choices. Example - Both Manoj Bajpai and Priyamini (his wife in the series) makes some choices and somehow without any explanation most of us understand them becuase unn events ka buildup bahut hee strong tha...

So, if you want to see very realistic YET an exciting take on a spy's life, you have a perfect series at hand... The family Man.
The only downside is jab aap iss series to entertainment ke liye nahi but real manne lagte hai. The series showed terrorists just taking revange of what india did bad to the muslims. They unintentionally may be showed indian police force, Indian army in somewhat bad light by doing so.

Anyways it is still a very good watch, amongst the best with great production values. So enjoy the series.
