Girl are simply amazing and so are their super human powers. Aisa kya hai jo woh nahi kar sakte. Right from managing the house to office. Ab to screen pey unke paas aur bhi super powers aa gayi hai...
To Dushmano zara bach ke rehna, kyuki ek new German movie aa gayi hai jisk anaam "Freaks" hai.
Kaafi time sey koi achi superhero movie nahi aayi hai, to chalo lets see if this is worth a watch or not.

Lets start our 2 minute filmi noodle where we will cover, how exciting is the story, direction kaisi hai? , acting kaisi hai aur visually movie kaisi thi...?


Freaks is German science fiction drama. The story is about an ordinary girl who one day she meets a homeless person who tells her that she has special powers. He further tells her to stop the medication she takes and let her internal powers explode. Soon she discovers her powers but also realises that there are more like her with special powers. She is now in search of such special people.
Story also has a deeper analogy in it, as it shows us that in life, good or bad in people is based on situations and circumstances and no one necessarily born evil. Secondly, the movie brings forward the subject "bipolar disorder" and how it should ideally be handled.
This is a tale about ordinary people who happen to have extraordinary abilities and how this impacts on them, as people.
In many manner you will find Freaks, as a german version of the X-men, with lesser action and more drama, so may not appeal to typical superhero movie lovers.

Acting performances by all the character is brilliant. Using the retro 80s' music was a smart move. The background score kept the momentum high.

Action Sequences however could have been better. The trailer sells you the idea that it is an action superhero movie, but the truth is that it is not, it is a drama. There are two action sequences but are not fully exploited and the VFX look low budget.
Camera work for some reason was kind of a shaky as if this movie is hot on handycam, instead of a trolley or a tripod.

Direction is decent but screenplay is quite show and lack that rush. Such a movie could have been narrated in 1hour, instead of 1.5 hours.

Overall the movie is a one time watch on Netflix.
It is neat film, you can watch it with your family.
