Lucifer season 5, has just just got released on Netflix and not only is the series trending worldwide and in India, but it’s has also broken many TV records.
Lucifer series had a great fan following and its season 5 has delivered the biggest opening weekend for a TV series on Netflix beating the earlier winner, that is, "The Umbrella Academy".
According to flixpatrol.com webmaster points on top rating, "Lucifer" scored 670 points over its opening weekend. It also earned extra 10 points for topping the charts.
Its awesome opening weekend points means that it beats, The Umbrella Academy, which had earlier delivered 643 points. Lucifer is now the most successful debut on Netflix for a TV series since the introduction of the "top 10" feature in February 2020.
For those who somehow missed this amazing series, Lucifier's storyline is about a charming Lord of Hell , A.K.A "the devil".
Bored and unhappy as the Lord of Hell, Lucifer Morningstar abandoned his throne and retired to Los Angeles, where he has teamed up with L.A.P.D detective Chloe Decker to take down criminals. But the longer he's away from the underworld hell, the greater is the threat that the worst soul will escape hell to challenge humanity.
Before we sign off today, a good news for the Lucifer fans.
Lucifer is a series that Netflix scooped up from Fox from season 4 onwards. Season 5 is set to be split into two halves plus the series was given a surprise second revival with season 6 also in the works.
