The trailer has gone wrong at many levels.
It doesn't inspire at all. A story of a women breaking taboos against all odds and went on to do something great for the country, is shown in a very uninspiring manner.
Where is the Energy? Where is the spirit of a soldier?
Anyways...
1. Screen time of the lead actress Janhvi Kapoor in the trailer is too less to get any inspiration.
2. Her body language is too fragile. She should have learnt from the Dangal girls on how to prepare for tough roles that demands a certain physical appearance and body language.
3. Her dialogs too have no impact. Ek javan ki aawaz buland hoti hai... Very disappointing. Last scene in the trailer where Janhvi says "fire" is so poorly delivered that this kind of "fire" will not even ignite a birthday candle. I am sure the real Gunjan Saxena was a tigress but Janhavi did not learn much from her.
4. I found even her training sessions gimmicky and poorly shot and poorly acted by Janhvi... Looks like she was a very poor choice for this tough role.
Typically one needs a seasoned actor for biography... Will not open the nepotism topic here but everyone will ask this question "why Janhvi?".
5. Other actors will have save the day, else this good intended movie will go down the drain.
Apart from Janhvi Kapoor in the lead, there are other sincere actors like Angad Bedi, Manav Vij and Pankaj Tripathi who will have to do the heavy lifting.
