Singh Sahab The Great hindi movie review 2013 #sstg

Well there are action heros and then there is Sunny Deol. His stare is enough to scare anyone. Plus his punches are lethal. He is the original Hulk of India.
He makes every scene believable. Be it pulling out the hand pump or pulling the tree roots in #sstg.

Coming back to the movie, it would have been a blockbuster if released in Sunny's hay days. Not to say that it has failed now. It is decent and have more than recovered its cost. People were receptive to go to theaters thinking that it is a regular maar dhaad movie. They are wrong as it is a action movie with a message.
Sunny and Prakash Raj has acted like champions. Anil Sharma has done a good job by giving the villain a powerful role to stand in front of Singh Sahab. Sharing screen space with Sunny is not easy.
The movie is about the corrupt world where one guy stands and revolts. But is taken the back seat due to consistent attack on his family and murder of his wife. He chooses to bring in a change in the society against revenge, so as to end this fear for badies in the society.
Not for a moment think that 'change in society' makes the Sunny's character weak in the movie. He is smart ass and gets his work done using his brain/tricks. And when logic/tricks fails, his fists tears everyone apart and how...
Overall, with solid performances, good direction and an average music #sstg is set to give critical claim to sunny and earn money as well.

3.5/5 stars. Must watch for Sunny fans and action movie lovers. Its a clean family movie. Go for it, especially if you tired seeing Khans everywhere.
