Ram Leela staring Ranveer Singh and Deepika is certainly artistic but unreal in Indian context. This Romeo Juliet adaptation is completely a work of fantasy.
Sanjay Leela Bansali, the director of the movie has created moments which are very engaging and of course the sets are grand. Music is average. The story is in literal sense is unbelievable. You might not like the movie if you like realistic or believable cinema.
It is the performances and grand sets that make it bearable. For everything else carry head ache medicine. I used it myself. I mean, I really got confused with the era in which the movie plays. Especially the costumes. No one wears them any more.
The movie is doing good at the BO and aheading towards the 100 cr mark. Everyone involved in making and release will make money.
Overall 2.5/5 stars. Just about watchable.
