Anyways, lets move on... Why should Shahid be left out in this action movie rat race. Anyone can be Dabbangg... Gone are the days when action heroes had defined looks, voice and style that made them look lethal. In today's time cameraman is the real action hero.
It is unbelivable how a 5'7 inch guy punch 10 people in the air. Unbelievable. Thanks to South India.
I think directors are forgetting that a good action movie is not just about great action sequences or stunts but it is about that hero who make it look believable. His stare, body language should scare villain and not the gravity defying stunts.
I think the choice of hero as Shahid is not looking apt but you never know what janta might like. But it surely doesn't impress me. Unable to relate Shahid with action.
Moving on to Sonakshi ji. Surprised to see her with a younger actor. Thought she would only work with 40+ actors. I was shit scared by seeing her coming out water/pool in saree. She seriously need a good gyming instructor.
Songs are decent and becoming popular, especially "Gandi Baat".
My sense is that this movie will not even get a decent opening. There are several reasons. Shahid was rejected doing action in his last movie "Phata poster nikla hero". Secondly, there are back to action movie release by established stars like Akshay Kumar, Sunny Deol, Saif, Hritik etc. People might give this one a skip.
My prediction on Box office - under 40 cr.
