Tehran web series is released on Apple TV (apple tv+) and considered as the top best spy thriller of 2020. 

A new espionage thriller from “Fauda” writer Moshe Zonder that tells the thrilling story of a Mossad agent who goes deep undercover on a dangerous mission in Tehran that places her and everyone around her in dire jeopardy. The series is created by Moshe Zonder, Dana Eden and Maor Kohn, and directed by Daniel Syrkin. Omri Shenhar serves as writer alongside Zonder. The series is executive produced by Moshe Zonder, Dana Eden, Shula Spiegel, Alon Aranya, Julien Leroux, Peter Emerson and Eldad Koblenz; and produced by Donna and Shula Productions in association with Paper Plane Productions, with the participation of Cineflix Rights and Cosmote TV. Tehran best spy thriller of 2020. 

 While the setup is of Israel and Iran, but the series is entirely shot in Atens, Greece.
Tehran is a tense and very well made series with excellent performances from mostly Iranian actors now living abroad. The fact that the characters all speak in their native language (Persian or Hebrew) adds authenticity to the atmosphere and they are very convincing performers. 

A big win for the makers is to make the show all characters believable . female spy is portrayed realistically-- frightened but determined, smart and versatile. I found myself worrying for the women /Tamar from the very first episode. And the suspence never subsided.
This is the most realistic and neutral show about Iran and Iranian people.
