Paranormal netflix series storyline:

Refaat Ismail, a cynical hematology professor with a dark sense of humor, has his world turned upside down and his lifelong scientific convictions questioned after he begins to experience paranormal activities. Along with his university colleague Maggie, they enter the paranormal world and try to save their loved ones from the immense danger that surrounds them. The story is based on the best selling thriller novel series with the same name by Ahmed Khaled Tawfik.

What you will like in this series:

1. Fine blend of Egyptian myths, legends and a bit of horror. They are smoothly integrated into the narrative.
2. Subtle wit of the main character Doctor Refaat. He is a confident man when it comes to his profession / science , determined while solving horror mysteries but is shy / acts dumb when it comes to love as he is unable to express it in front of Maggie his childhood love interest.
3. Production design is good and minute detailing like of cigrette brand , signboard on street and continuity of the storyline in the 1960s.
